About Us

Beautiful Memories Gemach may be the largest clothing pantry of its kind in the United States. We provide clothing for the homeless, people in shelters, veterans, patients from Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, and supply boys and girls with attire for proms. We also provide service opportunities for young people in QSAC (quality services for the Autistic community) as they volunteer in the Gemach.

Those who are not in need but love a bargain can shop at the Gemach and pay pennies on the dollar for over 3,500 articles of clothing and accessories. Our clothing comes from the Hamptons, Roslyn, Kings Point, Five Towns and Manhattan. All monies go to the synagogue to keep the doors open and allow us to serve people locally and internationally, in Haiti, South America and Israel.

We accept special occasion and business clothing for men, women and children from head to toe as well as monetary donations. We have a wonderful crew of volunteers, but can always use more help. If you personally know of anyone who could use free dress clothing or organizations that provide for those in need, please refer them to us. To learn more, please watch the video on our website at BeautifulMemoriesGemach.org.
